​Millions of people fall prey to fraud every year. There is a degree of dishonesty in fraud offenses. Fraud is not a modern crime; however, the evolution of the internet and other technology has altered the essence of fraud offending and victimization, allowing perpetrators to commit fraud on a much greater scale than historically understood. (Yar, 2013)
Purpose
The main purpose of this project is to spread awareness. It aims to inform people about evolving online scammers and cybercriminals online which they could possibly encounter. To provide ways and information on how can they detect and avoid it. Lack of knowledge about online fraud can cause considerable distress to everyone it deals with it, bringing that person variety of problems such as financial problems or leak of private information.
Vision
This campaign sees community that is more well aware and knowledgeable about online scammers.
Mission
​Fraud: Acknowledgement of the threats of Online Scammers is willing to give people an awareness and consciousness about the online scammers especially on these times of the pandemic where everyone loves to order products online. And also, it will give them the knowledge on how to avoid these scammers whenever people wanted something on online.
